It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Dumb reason why and lame story, but I’ll write it later on my michigansgratlakesandgreattimes tumblr regardless. Anyway, I am trying to get back into my jewelry making. This is my sister, Melanie, wearing the bunny rabbit pendant I made her as a (late) birthday present cause it’s her favorite animal and she always has them as pets. I etched nickel-silver with nitric acid and added some extra links on the chain so that the length of the necklace is adjustable.

My newest film, By the Hands of the Devil. With this film I tried to imitate not only the late ’70s early ’80s horror films such as Friday the 13th, Halloween and Maniac, but more specifically the Italian horror cinema. I’m very captivated by the works of Lucio Fulci, Mario Bava and most importantly Dario Argento. The way he uses his lighting creates such a surreal look and for me it gave birth to such a unique atmosphere that you don’t fine any where else and that’s exactly the atmosphere I wanted to give my audience.
Now I ask you to please kill all the lights within your home and prepare yourself for some thrils, chills, and bloodspills! Enjoy, fiends…
